of the short-lived "post-Benny-four-piece" Hitchers line up.

Confirmed***
The
Hitchers return to Dolans Warehouse on the 28th of December for their by now
annual Christmas reunion party.
This year they're also taking the rock'n'roll mayhem on the road when they play
Galways renowned Roisin Dubh on the 27th.
Special Guest in Limerick is Mark O'Connor whose album 'Robins Egg Blues' is one
of 2007s high points.

2001 farewell show at Dolans Warehouse now up on YouTube
Catch the entire 2001 farewell show at Dolans Warehouse. On a night so cold most
folks brought their thermals, their hipflasks and their better halves just
to help keep warm -Mark O'Connor -being made of stouter stuff -brought just his
humble movie cam and set about consigning to tape The Hitchers last stand.
Given a free run of the place (like we could stop him if we wanted) Mark got the
good, the bad and the ugly. Nought was missed but Wannabee and The Urge to Kill
(well ...the fcuking batteries conked out didn't they!!!). It's all here ...the
return of Eoin and Ben and Donnacha, the last gasp flogging of whatever
merchandise was left ....oh and Auld Lange Syne being sung 24 hours too
early for new year.
